The ideal candidate for our Methodology Engineer positions is a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys working on the creation of design automations.  The position will join an established team of engineers who work collaboratively to create custom solutions within NX (Unigraphics) utilizing an Agile Development methodology that dramatically reduce engineering cycle times.

This position's responsibilities include:

  • Working with the users of the solution to develop requirements
  • Contribute to the architecture of the solution
  • Be responsible for timely deliverables
  • Document the design and testing of the solution
  • Support user acceptance testing

Desired Skills, Experience and Education

Experience in an engineering and/or design environment doing engineering problem solving

Experience in or a desire to learn and provide NX Customization, NX Open, Knowledge Fusion, Check-Mate and other CAD programming

Experience with or desire to learn object oriented code architecture and design - Java, .net, VB, C#

Experience writing functional specifications, requirements, design documents, and standard work

Experience with or desire to learn the process of conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and testing small to medium engineering software applications in a team environment

BS or higher in engineering or mathematics with relevant programming experience or desire to learn programming
