Lou is new to DAA. Welcome Lou!
Lou Leverone has joined
Design Automation Associates as Business Development
Manager.
Lou’s background includes
a successful career in CAD/CAM/CAE systems & software
sales and commercial computer workstation & server
sales. His experience includes sales to Fortune500
companies such as General Dynamics/Electric Boat; United
Technologies divisions Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton
Sundstrand, Sikorsky Aircraft, and Otis Elevator.
Lou’s customers have also
included Stanley Hardware, Brown & Sharpe Machine Tool,
Raytheon, The Torrington Company, Colt Industries and
many others.
He has worked for
companies such as ComputerVision Corporation,
MicroSource CAD/CAM, Sun Microsystems and NCR/Teradata.
Lou has a Bachelors Degree
in Industrial Engineering. He has also worked as a
Design Draftsman for Honeywell, and as an Applications
Engineer in the CAD/CAM industry.
Lou’s interests are
sailboat racing and skiing. Lou also holds a 100-ton
U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license and 50-ton Coast
Guard Masters license.
Lou is a veteran of the
U.S. Navy.
